I noticed Blake on the F train in Carroll Gardens, and realized he was exactly how I'd pictured the youngest character in my independent film Neo-Mania, about a group of teenage kids who go on a murderous roadtrip across the country. Blake and I shot a few portraits in a deserted industrial neighborhood along the Gowannis Canal, and he kept falling asleep because he'd stayed up all night talking to his girlfriend.
