A dead beaver

What happens when three teenage boys find an abandoned lake cabin and consume an extraordinary amount of hallucinagenic mushrooms and crystal meth while swimming in a polluted lake contaminated from a toxic chemical spill? They plot the murder of their high school teacher, obviously! Starring Zach Cregger, Hays Holladay and Darren Trumeter, Squatter Teacher Haters is a highly theatrical dark comedy co-written and co-directed by the actors and producer in an absurd feature film shot at a deserted cabin on Lake Norman, NC during the summer of 2003. The film features exciting footage of a dead beaver and vintage 16mm films about industrial pollution symbolizing the decay of our youth's moral fabric.

Zach Cregger as Simon, the stoner couch potato.

Darren Trumeter as Ian, a neurotic basketcase who can't take a shit in the morning without a cigarrete.

Hays Holladay as Elliott, the sensitive student who is expelled for calling his teacher a 'cunt' after she read his poem aloud in class and humiliated him.

Gio Andrade as 'Andy', the high school drug dealer.

Elliott awakened at night by Simon and Ian. They need his car to drive to an abandoned lake cabin.

The boys explore the cabin. The lake had been evacuated in the 1970's following a toxic spill at a nearby chemical plant. Simon and Ian decide to move in rather than live at home.

Andy and Elliott discussing whether Elliott is actually going swimming in the contaminated water. Elliott says, "It's just water. It's not like I'm gonna drink it or anything..."

Plotting the murder of Elliott's teacher on crystal meth. The power has gone out, so they have to use candles to light the room.
