A promoter at the nightclub Tunnel asked me to photograph young downtown club kids for a teen party called Kurfew. He heard that I had taken portraits of street kids in the East Village and wanted to hang giant prints of beautiful faces on the walls of the club. I called Zach to see if he would like his portrait featured at Tunnel, and he thought it was a good idea. He came over to the studio one afternoon with his girlfriend, who sat on the couch smoking Newports and flipping through magazines. These images are from that shoot.
